Adam Chapnick is the deputy director of education at the Canadian Forces Colleges and an associate professor of defence studies at the Royal Military College of Canada.
He is the author or editor of five books, including Canada’s Voice: The Public Life of John Wendell Holmes and The Middle Power Project: Canada and the Founding of the United Nations, which was short-listed for the Dafoe Prize in 2005. That same year, his article, “Peace, Order, and Good Government: The ‘Conservative’ Tradition in Canadian Foreign Policy” was recognized in International Journal and awarded the Cadieux Prize.
Dr. Chapnick is also a regular commentator on Canadian foreign policy and Canada’s place in the world.
