Pat Brennan was born and raised in Saskatchewan. After earning his BA Honours and MA at the University of Regina, he completed his doctorate at York University.
He is currently an Associate Professor in the History Department at the University of Calgary as well as a Fellow of the Centre for Military and Strategic Studies at that institution.
Dr. Brennan is the author of Reporting the Nation’s Business: Press-Government Relations during the Liberal Years, 1935-1957 as well as numerous articles on the Canadian Expeditionary Force in the Great War.
